Mathnasium of East Wichita is looking for an exceptional CENTER DIRECTOR who is passionate about math education and helping students reach their full math potential. You do not have to be a math genius. But, you must like math and appreciate math education.

This Center Director position is a Full Time - Long Term job.

The CENTER DIRECTOR manages the entire operation of the Mathnasium learning center. It includes hiring & managing a staff of Math Instructors.

Center Directors are the Face of Mathnasium in Wichita.

The Center Director is responsible to grow the enrollment by selling the Mathnasium experience to prospective parents and students. The Center Director enjoys selling.

The Center Director is the "Point Person" for enrolled students. If you see yourself as a coach and chief cheerleader for students, then you are the right fit.

Responsibilities:

You will sell prospective customers on the value of Mathnasium and grow the enrollment. (leads come to you)
Cultivate relationships with existing customers to ensure students are engaged and parents are more than satisfied.
Promote Mathnasium at various community events in the Wichita area
Use leadership and management skills to manage staff to deliver the best math learning experience
Oversee daily operations of the Mathnasium learning center

Qualifications

You are passionate about education and have a passion to help kids.
You will present yourself as a professional manager. Speaking skills and writing skills are a plus.
You are an achiever and driven by sales goals. This position is highly sales-focused and previous sales experience or customer service experience is a plus.
Leadership qualities. This is a management position. At least one year of previous management or leadership experience is a plus.
Experience working with children (does not have to be math-related)
Able to pass a background check
Able to pass a basic math literacy test.
You make acceptable progress in our training course and demonstrate appropriate skills and outstanding effort during your initial three month appraisal period.

Center Director Hours

Must be available these hours.
School year: Start at 10:00am and finish about 8:00pm Mon - Thu. Saturdays 8:00am - 12:30pm
Summers: Start at 10:00am and finish about 7:30pm Mon - Thu and Fridays 1:00pm - 5:30pm.
Additional hours are expected during the training period (the first 90 days) and on special occasions.

Compensation: $43,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
